A small piece of Swiss history - for over 100 years
As early as 1890, the traditional Swiss company BALLY from Schönenwerd launched the now legendary "Tigerfinkli" which is popular beyond Switzerland's borders.
As has been reported for generations, the shoes bring their wearers much joy, happiness and health.
Almost every Swiss person has worn a pair of original Tigerli at some point in their childhood and experienced one or two adventures with them. This success story continues today. Tigerli are as much a part of Switzerland as chocolate, cows and watches.
Nobody knows exactly why the shoes are named after the famous jungle animal. But we know one thing for sure: They are still popular with young and old and are an unmistakable piece of Swiss history.
